The exact 3-day route we filmed, mapped to the hour: 25 hand-picked spots, the four family estates from our documentary, and a short glossary that explains what's actually in your glass.

You get a savable Google Maps route, booking notes for every winery, plus web access and an offline PDF. Less than one tasting at the cellar door.

Skip the research.
Walk into the cellars that matter.

Penedès isn't a wine theme park. It's a working valley of family estates, small towns and vineyard roads. Most visitors come for Cava and leave without ever hearing the word Corpinnat.

We spent real time here, filming a documentary and sitting down with the families who make this wine. The Nadals, who have worked their land since 1510 and keep their bottles twenty metres down in the rock. The Llopart family, on a ridge facing Montserrat since a parchment of 1385. The Huguets of Can Feixes, whose estate was first recorded in 1400.

This guide is what came out of that. You get their Penedès, and you'll know exactly what you're drinking.

A look inside

We don't send you to the biggest cellar.

We send you to the families we'd go back to.
“
Corpinnat was created so we could make sparkling wine, the traditional method, here, in Penedès, which I think is how it should have been from the start.
— Joan Huguet. Owner (Can Feixes), President (D.O. Penedès)

The exact 3-day route from our film, hour by hour. Four family estates, lunch facing Montserrat, dinner at a six-table restaurant with a Michelin star. We tell you which visits run on weekends only and which need booking ahead, so you don't arrive at a closed gate.
  • 📖 The Location Library

25 hand-picked spots to build your own trip: eight Corpinnat estates, restaurants and wine bars, places to sleep in the wine country, and the history under the vines. We list what's worth your time, not everything that exists.
  • 💡 Insider Tips

How to get between wineries when somebody has to drive, what to wear in vineyard rows with no shade, when the leaves turn gold and when calçot season starts, and where you can and can't walk into the vines.
  • 📍 The Map

Every location in one place, one tap to open in Google Maps. Save the whole route to your own account before you leave home.

Who is this guide for?

  • You want a trip that feels personal and unhurried, not a checklist of cellar tours.

  • You want the planning done, but the trip to still feel like yours.

  • You care who made the wine in your glass, and you'd like to understand Cava and Corpinnat before you taste them.

  • You'd rather sit at a family estate's table than queue for a tour with forty strangers.

  • You want every winery in Penedès listed. We curate on purpose.

  • You won't drive and won't book a transfer. The estates are spread across vineyard roads.

When to go?

Penedès works all year, but the vineyard calendar changes it completely. Pick your season by what you want to see and taste.
  • The vines:
new buds and poppies from March to May, solid green through summer, orange, red and gold from late September into October.
  • The harvest:
the verema runs from late August into September, picked mostly by hand, with Corpinnat's own Festa de la Verema and Vilafranca's Festa Major in the same window.
  • The winter table:
calçots with romesco from November to April, and in early February the Tast de Vins Base, where each base wine is poured next to the sparkling wine it becomes.
